With a decade of experience, his Brooklyn-based brand, Mat Blak New York, focuses on creating a unique vibe. Ken has collaborated with notable figures, including Emmy and Oscar nominees, and brands like Cadillac and Kickstarter. Now, he’s turning his attention to energizing Downtown Brooklyn, aiming to weave his creative threads into the area’s evolving identity. The new “Mat Blak Boerum”, located in the luxury building, One Boerum Place, is a deluxe suite where Ken intends to explore and elevate the Mat Blak experience. Known as a “sculptor” like cutter, Ken tells stories through his hair and floral arrangements, sharing his zest for life with every creation.
